Privacy policy
This policy covers the RAMA REFLECT Android app and this website.
Last updated 26 August 2026
In short
The app has no account, no backend, no analytics, no advertising, no tracking and no generative AI. It does not request network access. Everything it records is written to your own device, and there is no free-text field anywhere in it, so there is nowhere for personal or health information to be entered in the first place.
Who is responsible
RAMA REFLECT is published by DR TRENE RAMA PSYCHOLOGICAL SERVICES LTD, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 17375036. For the limited processing described below, that company is the data controller.
What the app stores
The app writes the following to local storage on your device, and only there:
- which reflections you have completed, and where you are in one that is unfinished;
- which authored options you selected during a reflection;
- practice principles and phrase templates you chose to save;
- which milestones you have reached;
- which daily reflections have been shown;
- your appearance and accessibility preferences, and the version of the safety notice you acknowledged.
That data is not transmitted to DR TRENE RAMA PSYCHOLOGICAL SERVICES LTD and is not transmitted anywhere else. It is not readable by us. Uninstalling the app, or using Reset progress in Settings, removes it.
What the app does not collect
- No name, email address, phone number or account of any kind.
- No free text. There is no diary, no notes field and no message box, so nothing you type can be stored — because there is nothing to type into.
- No health data, no diagnosis, no assessment result and no psychological profile. The app does not produce any of these.
- No analytics, crash reporting, attribution or advertising identifier. The app does not request the Android advertising ID.
- No contacts, location, camera, microphone, calendar or file access.
Network access
The Android package does not declare the internet permission, so the app cannot open a network connection even if something in it tried to. It is designed to work with no connection at all, and nothing in it requires one.
The app does contain links — to this website, to this policy, to the terms, and to the support address. Following one of those hands off to your own browser or email app and leaves the app entirely. What happens after that is governed by those apps and by the site you arrive at.
Children
RAMA REFLECT is written for adults aged 18 and over and is not directed at children. It does not knowingly collect information from anybody, of any age, because it does not collect information at all.
This website
This site is a set of static pages. It sets no cookies, runs no analytics, embeds no third-party scripts, loads no external fonts and has no contact form, comment box or login. There is nothing on it that identifies you.
The site is hosted on Vercel. Like any web host, Vercel processes the network requests needed to deliver a page — including your IP address — and may keep short-lived operational logs for security and reliability. That processing is the host’s, it is not configured to identify you, and no analytics product is layered on top of it.
Sharing and transfers
Because the app collects nothing, there is nothing to share, sell, transfer or disclose. We do not sell data, and there is no data to sell.
Your rights
Data protection law in the UK and the EU gives you rights of access, correction, erasure, restriction, objection and portability over personal data held about you. We hold none from your use of the app, so in practice these rights have nothing to attach to. The information on your device is under your control: Settings contains Reset progress, and uninstalling removes the rest.
If you believe your data has been mishandled, you may complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office, the UK supervisory authority, or to the supervisory authority where you live.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the date at the top of the page changes with it. A change that affects what the app records would also mean a change to the app itself, and would appear in its release notes.
